After a lot of thought, I've come to the conclusion that Unmarked 2 and Strive will be my last stories.
There's plenty of reasons for it, such as not enough time, little popularity with any of my stories, my want to write things other than pony, not wanting to make my readers wait months between chapters... well, I could go on for a while.
Regardless of the reason, that's how it'll be. I had a few ideas stored up that I wanted to do, such as a Twilight and Luna story kind of like a Zelda game, but it's not worth the effort, to be perfectly honest. Not to mention I want to write original fiction.
I'm not the best writer, so this has helped me improve immensely, but it's time for me to move on.
After Unmarked 2 and Strive are done, I will be, too.

I hope you'll perhaps keep us apprised of the original works you're focusing on as I'd be interested to read it.
I'm kind of upset to read this, but I can understand completely. There's no need to keep yourself constrained by fan fiction if you have dreams of becoming a published author. Me personally? I'd rather stick with my day job and write fanfics on the side.
I'm glad you're at least finishing off the Unmarked sequel. Novell, Whisper, Scrolls, Quills, Pensive, Search... Such memorable characters that I can't wait to see more of. And if Unmarked is anything to go by, the sequel will be awesome. It's been a real pleasure.
If you do manage to live out your dream and publish some original fiction, do keep in touch. Whatever you're working on, I'd love to read it.
