This story is a sequel to Unmarked

Continuing the search for Havoc's locked away powers, Novell and Whisper must lead their friends on separate quests to both the wintry peaks of the Draconic Domain and Dromadary, the deserts of the Camels. Unprepared for her newfound role as leader, Whisper must brave a labyrinth of political intrigue and assassinations, while Novell is forced to put his diplomacy aside and stand his ground before the might of the dragons. All the while, the avatar of chaos schemes from the shadows, gathering deadly, new allies to bring about a world under his direct control.

The sands of Havoc's Hourglass diminish with each day gone by.

At last!!! Squeee!
:pinkiehappy:

Nice writing, and a unique character and setting. Consider me hooked. It's rare to see a prologue this short and this good.

Ahh, it's so nice to be reading about these characters again.

Yikes, harpies are nasty.

A faraway expression came over the pegasus' face, as if he were looking through time. "No, I can feel it. I'll never fly again. I have to... I need—."

I'll just file that under 'mildly suspicious' given the story title.

Congrats on making it in. I can't wait to read this baby!

After having absolutely LOVED the previous installment, I simply cannot wait for this one. If it's anywhere near as good as the last, it's going to be simply stellar.

After the prologue, I only got one thing to say:
Ohohoho, this gun' be GOOD! I advise my fellow readers to strap in and lean back, because this rollercoaster will be a RIDE!

So I finally got around to reading this. And what can I say? Coming back to these characters is like meeting up with old friend and your writing is every bit as good as I'd remembered. Those battle scenes were exciting (Whisper is a badass) and I can't wait to see where this all leads. What else could I have expected from my favourite fanfic author on the site? :pinkiehappy:

I do have one big problem though. This story needs more views! :raritydespair: But please don't let this deter you. Your work has continued to inspire me, and many others I'm sure. I await the next chapter with baited breath.

So its a real nasty chess game with more than one side playing with pawns, queens and knights.

You made my day ! :pinkiehappy:
It was a long time.. How are you ?

Hooray! :pinkiehappy: Believe it or not, I'd been contemplating sending you a PM to check if this fic was still in the works. I'm so glad you haven't given up on it.

So something has severed the connection between Novell and Pensive... That would explain why he failed to sense him in the last chapter of Unmarked. But why would that be? I'm guessing it has something to do with... Could it be? They've traveled through time? :pinkiegasp: I'm guessing that ties in with the title 'Havoc's Hourglass.' This could get rather interesting. :ajsmug:

Anyway, keep it up, man. I'm sticking with this story right until the end, no matter how long it takes to complete. Don't think for a second that people have stopped caring. Out of all the stories on my favourites list, this is still the one I look forward to being updated the most.

Ooo, dragons, fun.

Khromie? Chromie? Eh, close enough for me to like her from the get go.

And that last line, do we have a third draconequus in play?

Novell looked back and watched as a massive girth of flashing teeth and red scales barreled through the passage. “Must go faster!”

Love it. :pinkiehappy:

4979106 If so, I want his (or her) name to be Entropy. We've already got another, superior Havoc.

Sorry for taking so long, but I've been writing much less lately. This story won't come quickly, just like Unmarked didn't, but I do hope you enjoy it when it does come. I'll try not to make you wait two years for the ending. Thanks for the support, as always, paul. :)

I considered dropping any progress on this story, honestly. Still, I couldn't stop half-finished. It'll be completed, eventually, I promise you that. Thank you for your kind words. They do help my motivation to write. :)

Khromie's name is definitely related to a certain bronze dragon from Azeroth, but the similarities end there! As for what's what and who's who... you're close.

Hehe, someone got the reference. Excellent. :P

4980185

That's a cool name!

Whisper looked around the clearing they'd set down in, the ruins of some ancient civilization decripit and run-down. Moss and vines covered the stone, and she thought she saw some designs of an animal with a large hump on its back on the broken walls. The figures looked like they were surrounding a faded bipedal figure.

Now that seems likely to eventually be significant.

Dang, that's a scary tree. Great action scene in then dealing with it, Skycrasher is a badass.

I feel sorry for Whisper, she has a lot to learn and it seems that this expreince will not be easy to get...
Anyway, - awesome chapter and awesome action scene!
And as usual with your writing I did not notice time while reading
Thank you !!! :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:
