I am so disappointed in you.

I noticed a story today on the front page of the website, within the featured box. I have never seen such a story on the site, and it actually made me mad to see such. If nothing else, the sheer lack of respect for someone else, bothers me so much that... Well, I really don't have any words for that feeling. If they were present in front of me, I would have likely told them off. Right after

I previously had said that I had stories in the pipe, primed and pretty much ready to throw up here.

That was months ago, and clearly I have yet to post any stories.

    Why?

The answers really stem from the same source.

    Story in the Pipe.

It's not the story I was inquiring about in the last blog post, but I'm finally going to post this. It may get me back on track for my other pony works, leading me to publish them as well. So in short, here we go, FimFic.

The first story will be Apples. This first story is a human in equestria story, much like many stories on this site.
    The other stories include:

    A question for FIM Readers.

I am curious, just how many people would be interested in reading a story that had little to no interaction with any of the show cast, but instead focused on events regarding OC Ponies and characters in another part of the world? Would people even give the time of day to a story that lacked the Ponyville Crew or any of the other characters we know?

I previously had said that I had stories in the pipe, primed and pretty much ready to throw up here.

That was months ago, and clearly I have yet to post any stories.

Why?

The answers really stem from the same source.

Until quite recently, I was very unemployed, and trying to fix that problem. As a result, my time off when I got done job hunting was very chaotic. Chores or hanging out with friends, who would suggest doing all sorts of things together. TF2, Terraria, League of Legends, and so forth. Playing video games together and just having a blast. One friend would even write little scenes with me, which will be unlikely to ever truly see the light of day. Silly things really for our own enjoyment.

But whenever I tried to put words to file for my own serious endeavors, of which I have at least THREE separate stories to tell that are serious, full length stories, I couldn't find it in me to write terribly long. In fact, most of my work was trying to go back and make sure everything I'd already written was coming out as I'd intended.

So I never really got any proper progress done, or at least, not in the speed I should have.

Just recently, however, my search for employment ended. I am again employed, working full time as a guard.

Now that I have work, I have a different problem. First, the site I work at does not have too much downtime moments actually available to even think about writing in, as I have reports of damage or events during my shift to write down. And when I get home, I'm actually not motivated to do much of anything. Top that off with the bundle of nerves I find sitting in my gut over the job, and I am feeling depressed, scared, and unsure I can even complete my job as I should for a variety of reasons.

In short, writing is probably the furthest thing from my mind now, yet the ideas I have to play with have not gone down. In fact, I've added yet another story idea to the pile of pony writings I am already working on that you good people have not seen.

I now have several one-shot ideas, mostly involving shows or concepts I like relating to them. Shows like Kamen Rider, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Nanoha (original through StrikerS), I could keep going. But each of these are really fodder for one shots. A brief instance of seeing things mash together that I like, before splitting back onto their divergent paths. These stories would all only be one chapter long, even if that chapter is rather long (or rather short) by my standards.

In the way of one shots I was currently writing, I only have two. These are:
Shooting Star: Kamen Rider Meteor arrives to save a Very Important Pony from danger, only to go on his way after the task is done. His interference leaves a mark on the pony saved, which is alluded to after the encounter.
Runner: A strange little experiment in being as vague as I can in certain ways, avoiding dialogue altogether in some cases. Involves a being trapped in an alien new world, living on the streets of a very important city. As the title suggests, it focuses on what our character does the most: Running.

I also have a grand total of FIVE long story arc ideas kicking around in my head. Three are HiE, one is related to an HiE's universe, and one is an all original, all Equestrian tale.

So for long term, multi-chapter projects, I have:
Apples: The story of a human man and Applejack, and their developing relationship as friends of the closest calibur.
Truth and Consequences: The story of a human woman arriving in Equestria, to find out some rather interesting things about the nature of her world, as well as an adventure relating to that and those who inhabit that world.
Friendship's Desire: The story of Danny Phantom somehow going to Equestria, yet becoming a pony as the result of an innocent wish overheard by Desire, the wish granting ghost who's terrible power revolves around twisting any wish she hears spoken aloud towards her benefit. The bigger the wish, the more energy she gains from "granting" it. While she's fighting out intrepid young hero, she hears one such wish, sending Danny Phantom out of her way and into a brand new world, in a brand new shape. Humor and Superheroing ensue, as per the fare of both shows, really.
Xenophilia: Dog Days: A story set in the same universe as the story "Xenophilia", one of my favorite romance stories on this site. It has sex, and it has sweet romance. The story idea I have to write in this setting would be another tale of interspecies romance between a Diamond Dog, a Pony, and their potential herd/pack mates that would later join the two main characters. Despite the "core story" on which this would be based upon being rather NSFW, this story would in fact be readable by those under 18. Sorry, no clop will be written here, though the sex that would obviously come about from such a relationship later would likely be alluded to (just never shown).
Bloody Thunder: And finally, a story of murder, mystery, and the stallion that gets caught up in it all. This story follows an original cast of characters, with allusions or blatant references to the show cast from time to time.

Now, the problem with all of these ideas I've just mentioned?

Not a single one is getting written at the moment, with everything that's happening for me. The new job precludes me from writing as much as before, and even then, my writing seems to be at a snail's pace, unless I'm struck by the massive urge and inspiration to crank out a full chapter within an hour or so.

I'm using this blog post, then, to remind myself of these projects, and hopefully that will push me to actually completing, if not simply progressing any one of them towards their completion. I know I certainly don't wish for any of these projects to be completely dead, even if I know one or two may wind up abandoned despite that feeling.

And maybe, once my nerves have died down, and I can pull myself out of the funk I seem to have fallen into, I can work on delivering the promised written work I keep seeming to neglect.
