[Colors of the Heart]: Chapter 25 Progress Update + Other Writing News. · 8:51am Sep 23rd, 2013

Alright, I just thought I would give you guys a little update on the Progress of chapter 25! As well as some other things I am working on.

So currently the chapter sits at a little over 7500 words. I estimate it to be around 9000 words when I am finished. So the next chapter isn't too far off.

You see, the problem with this chapter is the sheer difficulty it has proven to be to get many scenes just right. I have easily tossed out over 7500 words in revisions, edits and rewrites alone! Not to mention the crazy amount of hours I have already thrown at this gluttonous time monster of a chapter. (Quick, someone call The Doctor!) However, that is just how it is. I'm a very stubborn perfectionist, and will tinker with scenes endlessly until I have them perfect, or at least as close to perfect as I can get them without losing my mind nitpicking the details.

Alright, In other news, my HiE story is slooowly making some progress. I have roughly 1500 words into the prologue (yay) which is likely going to be the most difficult chapter of the story for a long time. As I stated above, CotH's chapter 25 has been a real stuck in the mud, slowing down my progress on this story.

Also I would like to announce that I am currently working on a collab project with Silent Sir 224.

What started as simple conversation, quickly bloomed into an extremely promising story premise. Much like my conversation with Brony2893 about his initial idea forTo Love a Goddess, it was just too good to let the author throw the idea out. It had to be written!

What's this story about you ask? Well that's a secret... for now anyways. However, I will give you guys two hints as to what you can expect to find in it.
