Being Late, Fondest Desire, and Information About Cameos · 1:33am Sep 23rd, 2013
So sorry for the late chapter tonight. I was sick and had work this weekend and I ended up spending more of my Sunday doing non-story things than I had planned. I'll try not to let this happen again, but of course no promises. I should also note that I will probably one day miss an update. If that happens don't worry, I'll make sure to keep going. Still, if I do miss a chapter, feel free to poke me, because I will probably be feeling guilty about it and will need a bit of encouragement.
I mentioned in an earlier blog post that I kinda was sad this story could never be featured. However I do have one long term goal for this story. I hope that if I manage to keep doing this for a few months I might be able to get my very own tvtropes page for this story. I don't expect to get one right now, while the story is still less than two weeks old, but I dream of the day in a few months when this story is a hundred thousand words long, with fifty die hard fans still reading of making it onto that site.
Finally Cameos. This next chapter will probably feature a few so if you want a cameo in a screen shot, please go here and make a pony. Then either pm me the pony code from the advanced options section, or save the image (with no background please) and send me a link. I figure that I will have at least a chapter or two where they will show up so please send then over. As for cameos in the story itself, I doubt I can do too much about that. The word count for each chapter can end up strained just with the characters I already have, without trying to coordinate interaction with ponies in the comments. I know earlier I was excited by the idea, but as I keep on writing I'm learning that my time and word count each chapter is limited. Unfortunately that puts certain constraints on the story.

Question: how planned is the story? Because reader input/influenced stories are the best, and there Isaac by enough of them.

Let me put it like this. I am not always sure what is going to happen until I've written it. This story is completely by the seat of my pants and has no plot. In the immortal words of the Animaniacs;

A TvTropes page you say? Well, I'm not super active over there, but I have written entries for works that miraculously didn't get deleted. It's easy really, but I can see how it might feel like cheating to write the entry for your own work. Tell you what, I'm sure I find the time to draft the first submission, so others can add tropes at their own leisure. The hardest part is finding the right index pages anyway.
