I'm writing this, more or less as a way to explain something I've decided upon. It's official; since my pathway to the world of bronies took me through the furry fandom, which, in fact, is the biggest contributor as to how I became a brony; I'm not going to be able to clear out my previous mindset. If I do, it will be quite some time down the road. Thanks to this, I'm going to stick with what I know and what 'clicks' with my head. I'm going to be posting only anthro stories here because I have such a mindset about it. I don't want to write human works because it doesn't feel right for the characters. It feels like it takes away half of the characters if I do that. I can't do stories with normal ponies simply because I can't yet graft my own ideas to a quadruped. My mind doesn't wrap around the idea well enough to manage a story with it. Another factor is likely just that I can do a lot more with an anthro than either a human or a pony. (You non-fur's haven't even the slightest idea how tough it is to remember not to use the term 'feral' with this. It's a nightmare.) So I guess that pretty much explains the basics. If you still have questions as to why I write anthro stories, other than "Why write at all?", then please feel free to contact me through PM instead of in the comments. I want the comments to be clean for the purpose of review or critique of the actual story, not questions about my choices on this matter. Maybe this post is pointless, but I'm kinda like Twilight, slightly paranoid and holding a strong preference in having an explanation you don't need than needing an explanation you don't have handy.
I suppose I should have checked your blog before asking that question, and you have my apologies.
Truthfully I actually read most Anthro stories in a way that the ponies become furries, so your stories actually suit me in a way. (I myself am not a furry, but I am open to anything you would wish to send my way that is connected to the 'furrification' process)

Personally, I feel fine.
However, if you were to ask my psychiatrist, my parents, my school-mates, my friends (hah!), my state legislators, the local law enforcement, my dog, my neighbors, the clown who gives little children ice-cream on the street corner, anypony I've bought a foot long submarine sandwich from, the purple god frog that hides in my loft-space...
