    Writing a short FOE Story

So yeah, I'm developing a FOE story called Of The Fathoms, which will mark my first ( and most likely last) attempt at comedy. Hoping to submit it soon, and really hope it turns out alright!

The last entry in the THC Prequel Trilogy

SYNOPSIS

A brown stallion walked into the room, his face grim and serious. He turned to a cyan pegasus who sat at the end of the confines, oiling a worn, but well maintained machete, her mane hidden under a navy blue infantry cap. She was careful as she applied the oily resin to the chestnut grip, making sure the excess was caught on the cloth.

" Ma'am." The stallion said, swallowing sharply as she stopped her task, looking up slowly, her magenta eyes cold as the North.

" What is it?" She replied coldly, returning to her maintenance.

" She's gone." This stopped her cold, as she looked up but with an anger stricken expression, fire within her boiling her blood.

" What." The tone in her voice seemed to be more of a statement than a question.

" She snuck out sometime last night, helping herself to some of the supplies as well as the armory." The pegasus was extremely enraged, pushing of the seat, slipping the machete into its holster, and walked over to the messenger, only inches from his face.

" Why wasn't I told?" She growled, making the stallion cower slightly.

" W-we just found out. The Mayor told me to come and get you."

The pegasus scoffed, turning away from the unicorn, giving him a glimpse of her wings which only made him shudder as she lacked a complete pair. The stub of the right wing was covered in gauze.

" She wants us to go after her huh?" The stallion nodded sharply, holding his rifle closer to his chest.

The pegasus smiled darkly, turning back, pushing past the unicorn, and walking out, the messenger close behind.

" Let's go on a witch hunt."
