I think I got it.
One of the princesses will transcend the others, where they will then be tasked with slaying an ugly sea monster. Things get metalocalyptic, the resulting fallout causing every dimension to collide in an epic explosion, creating a new universe in the process. Ponies grow exoskeletons, trees start melting, and rocks spark with electricity. The princess who previously transcended the others (my guess is Celestia because best princess) has lost their magical powers, and now resorts to using alchemy atop an obsidian pyramid in the middle of a growing metropolis. She's trying to find a way to make everything not look fuzzy, which is a result of the everlasting radiation caused by the big dimension crash thing. It makes the eyes burn. The Internet met at a point of singularity which then exploded outwards, creating some weird and reversed parallel universe where Chromosome and SS&E are the same person but separate entities.
