So finally I'm here! You guys do not know how long I've wanted to join this site.
I should probably introduce myself; I'm an aspiring writer who joined the brony community back in January of 2012. I'm also a Disney fan as well as a bookworm (like Twilight!). Currently I'm on the first chapter of Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World" and also in the middle of the Pretty Little Liars series (both the original books and the TV show). Twilight, Fluttershy, and Pinkie all share a spot as my Best Pony.
What I hope to get out of joining this site; get some writing practice, meet with some fellow brony writers, and just have a good time! While I can't gurantee that I will be constantly publishing stories and/or updates (I DO have classes starting soon), I have a bunch of story ideas and headcannon I'd love to share, and I hope to get them out for all to enjoy before any show cannon squashes them. :P In the meantime, I'll make it a point to blog at least once a week- maybe something about my writing progress, my thoughts on the show, opinions and news on my daily life, or maybe just fun, random posts about other stuff I like.
I look forward to writing and publishing, as well as joining the (fanfic) herd. :) See you soon!
P.S. Just for fun since I'm constantly in the middle of a book, each blog I post I will list the current story I'm reading out here in the real world, whether it's Young Adult guilty pleasure or classic literature, or even a writing guide I picked up from B&N. Sort of like a Facebook status update, but for eggheads. :P
