Equestria Girls review

I just finished watching Equestria girls. Honestly, while not what I was hoping for, it was alright all things considered. The character designs were very off to me, especially Celestia and Luna. Sunset Shimmer is a very weak villain; she honestly feels like a redesign of Diamond Tiara to me. But aside from that, I kinda liked it. The songs were all good, and all the nods to the fans were a bit funny, albeit repetitive. Overall, I'm glad I saw it, but I don't think I'll see it again. I'm also hoping this doesn't lead to a spinoff series.
