That's right folks, even though I do not come with a ghost army I can assure you that the king has returned. 
for Lord Of The Rings references. As you could tell I didn't have the internet much when I went away and unfortunately I wasn't able to do as much writing as I wanted to, but I did still manage to have quite a bit of fun and I'm already feeling nostalgic about the whole thing.
That is partly though because my life is probably about to change one way or another. I might be getting a job soon and even if I don't get that one, I'm more motivated than ever to get one. I'm still going to finish off Working Towards The Future before going back full time to commercial writing. It's sad but I have to acknowledge that right now I can't make anything viable out of writing as I do believe I'm still yet to receive any kind of royalty check for my first book. No, sadly I must carry on with the daily grind of modern men and women. Or create various get rich quick schemes. Oh if only.
Anyway now that I'm back you can expect Working Towards The Future to continue to update on it's regular tri-weekly schedule. I don't like the idea of not having an update ready. Once I miss one update I'm likely to become very lazy about others and I won't feel at all bad about missing updates. As such I'm not likely to allow myself to skip one.
Welp I'll let you go back to your days now people.

Not yet but I have a second book I put on hold to write Working Towards The Future. I also have some resources now for doing freelance writing. I even have some motivation these days and want to try and make a good and proper start with fixing up my life. I'm actually planning on living in self imposed poverty to save money. Which will just further motivate me to get a job

Well I should have a work trial coming up soon and if it goes well it can end in full time employment. It's in a factory so it's going to be soul crushing and utterly depressing but I've reached that point where I do think I've gotta do what I've gotta do. Things are bad yeah, and it's up to me to make the best out of them and do the best I can with what I have.
Of course that kinda stuff is much easier said than done

Man, I used to perform manual labour when I was younger. In retrospect, it taught me to be self-dependent and to appreciate hard and honest work of our labourers.

As for the freelance stuff, it's mostly some documents I was given with information on how and where to send things, I'll have to dig it out if you'd like some information. Or just scan it and send it you in a message. That'd work for me when I get the chance.
I'm not really trying to badmouth manual labour. It's just not really for me. I don't have the strength or energy levels to stay on my feet for hours on end and I get very bored very easily. Manual labour is for some and jobs I'd be good at, such as office work or retail, aren't suited for other people. Really retail is barely suited for me
