Why I wrote "The Great and Powerful Trixie Rises"

WARNING: Major spoilers ahead. If you haven't read "The Great and Powerful Trixie Rises", then for the love of God, DON'T READ ON!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED: So, some of you might be wondering why Trixie keeps popping up in my fanfics as a hero of sorts. Why her? A random blue magician who, if anything, is certainly a villain in the show. Well, the answer is simple: I hate fanon Trixie. Not Twixie, thank you, I like me some good Twi on Trix lovin' (I'm a sucker for some villain finding love and improving themselves, what can I say). I'm talking about sadistic Trixie.

Now, I know what yer thinkin': "Kildeez, sadistic Trixie? Whatchoo talkin' 'bout? You been hittin' the sauce again!?"

First of all BLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH, *wipes mouth* ...no.

Second of all, I mean a certain fanfic, not particularly well-written, mind you (English is obviously not the author's first language), about a certain blue mare. She meets a certain OC obviously based on a certain author, and they go on to KIDNAP THE MANE SIX AND BRAINWASH THEM INTO BECOMING SEX SLAVES. *Pukes, and not just from the booze*

Now, I'm not going into details here. I'm not going to link anyone to this fic, because regardless of how I feel about the author, I think that still counts as cyber-bullying, and I would never stoop to that unbelievable low. Still, something like this just sickens me, to the stomach. Stories about rape and murder are one thing, but to dream about brainwashing someone, taking away their minds and memories? To wipe out someone's personality and leave behind a toy for your pleasure? It's terrible. But to dream about doing it to a pony, especially our beloved six? Removing everything that makes them the smart, independent, lovable heroes we know and love and leaving behind a sex toy? That's sick. Seriously. Just sick. We're talking about something beyond rape, violating someone on such an unbelievably basic level. And then doing it to an innocent little pony. Just wrong.

So to make it all right, yes: Trixie is a hero in my head-canon. What can I say? This is how I make crap right in my head. Because I'm that weird. Now, as for this fic: I have more in the works, mostly set from the Mane Six's and Trixie's perspective in the same storyline. Basically, I had a whole lot written down from their perspective, the realized it just didn't fit into the story and had to cut it. Then I looked at all the cut bits and realized I had an entire story here! So, yay! Look for that in the future after my other fic's done.
