    Yes I am alive

Sorry I've been so absent as of late. My new project kinda absorbed me a bit :twilightsheepish: Actually, for the past year ever since I decided to write a Warriors fanfiction I couldn't really think about much else as far as writing is concerned, even right now.

    It's been 10 years!

Yeah, it's been 10 years since I've made an account on this website and published the first two chapters of Rebirth of the Damned, my first story (you can't tell now because back then when you would edit chapters and save them then it would overwrite the date of publication).

My vacation in Greece · 7:21am Aug 3rd, 2013

Well, my time in Greece is coming to the end, and I figured I could write some things.

Were should I start? Well, I obviously went to beach and swam in the sea. The waters of Greece are warm (still cold when you first go into it, but you quickly get used to it), and as long as you don't swim in the area too close to the city, the're clean, too. There were also a lot of people on the beaches, to the point that finding a place to sit of was difficulty.

I did some sightseeing too. I went to see the Acropolis, which I hadn't done in years, and boy, was it crowded! The only time when I saw it more full was when few years back I attempted to visit it during a full moon in August, when they let you for free. I was amazed that so many people wanted to go there on such hot day. I also visited a Lykavittos, a mountain that took its name from wolves that lived there in ancient times (at least according to popular stories). There's a restaurant on the top, as well as a small church, where some people were baptizing their kid. First of - seriously? They had to drag that poor kid all the way to the top, as well as all those people that wanted to see it? Weren't there any churches on the sea level? Second of all, that's just my personal opinion, but with things like those people should wait until a kid is enough grown up to choose his or her own religion, instead of being brainwashed before he can even spell it. But whatever. The view from both Acropolis and Lykavittos was great.

I had a constant access to the internet, which made this trip so much better than all the previous. I come to Greece almost every year, because my grandparents live here, as well as some other relatives. But before, I would have to visit my uncle to get in touch with the rest of the world through the internet. But now, my grandparents had it installed, as they recently got curious about things like facebook, and watching old documents.

Now, the most important part: ponies. I am sorry to say that in this aspect, Greece is a Celestia forgotten country (which is amusing, considering how sunny it is here). Through those four weeks I stayed here, I haven't seen anything from My Little Pony franchise. No merchandise, no toys that you would see kids play on the beach (but plenty of towels with Dora the Explorer there, omg seriously?), sadly no women on the beach wearing bikinis with ponies (I know, those things are mostly sold in USA, but still...).... and nothing on the TV!!! I am dead serious, during vacation they show a lot of reruns and all, and there is this time between 6 am to 11 am where they show nothing but kids show on a channel Star, and the ponies are not there. This comes to me as a surprise, because apparently, those precious generation of MLP were highly popular in Greece. I think I even remember once seeing something about... ten years ago, but I am not certain. Anyway, I checked my internet sources, and found out that apparently, the number of bronies in this country is only about one hundred. That's just sad. In my home town of Wroclaw alone we have more people.

Well, that about sums it up. I suppose I could also tell you about TV shows I watched here, but other than Friends, there wasn't much. Eh, I remember how they used to show Hercules, Xina, Charmed, Detective Monk, Married... with Children, and now there is nothing. What happened?

I will be returning now to Poland, the country the more I read about in regards to politics, celebrities, and its relation with catholic church that stayed the same since medieval times, the more I despise. I know one shouldn't say so about his home country, but... I just don't see hope for it anymore.
