Ugh. For whatever reason I am/have been compelled to write a story by forces I can't begin to understand. Today I came up with an idea for one. Let me know if you'd like to see it or think it's been done before yadda, yadda, yadda...
-Cmc never get their cutie marks
-On a particular crusade, Scootaloo gets seriously injured and is permanently disabled, unable to move and her mental capacity is drastically impaired
-Story being with the crusade leading up to the accident
-SB and AB can’t forgive themselves, Scootaloo doesn’t blame them but she is incredibly depressed
-1 year later
-SB and AB have been regularly visiting Scootaloo and one day they overhear some very bad news from doctors; Scootaloo’s brain is failing
-They ask Scootaloo about it. She says she didn’t understand much but knows that she has about a month to live
-AB and SB are crushed, thinking they effectively killed their best friend
-They decide to bust Scootaloo out, and try to make her happy by getting her cutie mark before she dies
Nice sad fic. Do it.
You've got a thing for putting characters in the hospital, don't ya? And since Scoots is by far my favorite CMC, watching her in such a condition could be harsh.
By all means, do it.
