I wish to upload a small submission that has connections to The Lost Element, but it is under 1000 words in length and I simply cannot add anything to it.
I've seen stories on the site that have submissions under 1000 words in length. Is there an exploit I can use to upload this little quicky?

How many words are missing for 1000?
If there is no other possibility and not too many words are missing, I would simply suggest to add anything at the end. must not necessarily be related to the story. somehow separate it from the actual story and maybe give a few words to your loyal fans.
There are certainly some possibilities to bypass the 1000 words limit. I'm sure your fans would not mind, as long as they can read the next chapter.
