So I've just re-read Sabriel by Garth Nix (because Garth is a freaking boss) and I was sitting around thinking... 'This might make a good crossover'.

(For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Abhorsen Trilogy, I won't say anything. That's part of why you read Nix's work. He drops you into his world with no explanation as to what this world is about but slowly drip feeds you information throughout the first book of his series. Sabriel, Mister Monday and The Fall are all introductions into the many worlds of Garth Nix. But I'm getting away from the point.)

So I feel I'm going to start writing an FIM/Abhorsen trilogy crossover. And to those of you exclaimed 'FOUR stories simultaneously!?' (not including those on hiatus) no. I consider myself to be working on two stories. Battle Ready: Envy and Iron Gal. Gods Can be Cruel is currently a side story, a kind of pet project, and that's what The Old Empire will be as well.

D101 out.
