So my writing career is on hold... Indefinitely. I had an ND (Negligent Discharge) Tuesday night, the 115 grain 9mm round entered the palm of my right hand and blew out my wrist, shredding the ulnar artery, I thank whoever is keeping an eye on me for my basic medical knowledge as I was able to get a tourniquet around my arm and slowed the bleeding long enough for the ambulance to arrive. I now have no feeling in the last two fingers on my right hand, time and physical therapy will eventually see me back on top according to the orthopedic surgeon. I'll try and keep you guys updated as best I can.
Holy fuck. Get better soon man.

1261201 The entry wound is closed, the exit wound not so much lol. But I'm healing alot faster than I thought I would and I hope to be back to work soon. I can't help but find humor in the situation though, for example my exact thoughts not 20 minutes before my ND were "I can't believe I bought Ultramax, I shouldn't have been a cheap fuck..shoulda bought the Hornady Critical duty, this cheap shit won't expand reliably i'll bet my left nut..."
Welp I can say with 110% certainty that Ultramax will expand as advertised O_o....Plus that 137 grain ballistic tipped Hornady probably would have torn half my hand off, always look on the bright side of life.
