Long Time No See...? Anyways, NEW CHAPTER!

For those individuals who once clicked the follow button or favorite button because of my now incomplete Conversion Bureau stories, I thank you greatly. I'm not sure if any of you will care to look at this, but for those who do, I beg of you one thing: Take a peak at one of my best and most promising stories (in my opinion), The Conversion Bureau: Project Vanguard, because by the time you read

    New Roanoke

So, in my mind, this is basically what New Roanoke looks like:

    CLOSE ENOUGH.
Actually, it's pretty much exactly how I pictured it. Except for maybe the landscape, as you'll be hard pressed to find natural terrain like that in Southwest Virginia.

    Title Change

You know, I've been thinking, and I believe that my initial title choice for The Conversion Bureau: Life Is A Perception Of Your Own Reality isn't really doing it for me anymore. So, with that said, I think that a better title, in my opinion, would be The Conversion Bureau: Project Vanguard. Back in the day, when this story first came to me, the original title fit. But now I've veered away from

New fic coming soon: The Conversion Bureau: Life Is A Perception Of Your Own Reality

I'm currently in the process of writing a fantastic story (by my standards) called Life Is A Perception Of Your Own Reality. Basically, it's set within my version of the Conversion Bureau universe. My CB universe, as noted in the description of The Madman, entails a golden age for mankind.

Long Time No See...? Anyways, NEW CHAPTER! · 6:48am Jun 29th, 2013

For those individuals who once clicked the follow button or favorite button because of my now incomplete Conversion Bureau stories, I thank you greatly. I'm not sure if any of you will care to look at this, but for those who do, I beg of you one thing: Take a peak at one of my best and most promising stories (in my opinion), The Conversion Bureau: Project Vanguard, because by the time you read this post, a new chapter of it will have been posted. For the first time in a very long time, I might add. I so very dearly wish that this story could get the publicity that I want it to, but I'm not sure if it deserves it. For those of my followers who have not read Project Vanguard, I inform you that it is a rather dark story focusing on the mind of a young teenager in the midst of the beginning of the Conversion Crisis, and is in first person. He is forced to convert by his parents, and is very resentful of his changes. Because of the nature of his conversion, his only alliances remain with his best friends, and his outlook on both ponies and humans are obscured, but interestingly true, at times. The story eventually leads to the *spoilers*, but Nathan's emotional journey along the way is staggering.

This story, and in fact my Conversion Bureau mythos attempts to portray Humans and Ponies in a neutral light, with good and bad being on both sides, and the humans and ponies being neurologically the same, save for cultural differences (the consumption of meat). I attempt to portray them as a reflection of humanity, and nothing more. I often see universes in which the ponies and humans are treated as radically different, but I never really liked that, to be honest.

So, if you want a new and refreshing Conversion Bureau story that isn't about evil Celestia, happy-go-lucky ponies(save for some characters and Nate's portrayal of his parents), or misanthropy-laden junk(Nate's outlook sometimes seems misanthropic, and many people are bastards, but that's only because of Nate's run-ins with Anti-Pony supporters, as he lives in the city in which the HLF makes its home.), then this story is up your alley.

Thank you guys, and expect more chapters on this story. -AS
