We've all had those day where everything just seemed to go against us like the universe was out for you. This isn't anything like that, but I will try to keep it rather brief. Throughout the site there are countless of time traveling stories, myself included. There is even that one canon episode that revolve around time traveling. It's an interesting concept for sure and a lot of times it's only vaguely explained how it's possible at all.

There are a few constants though. They always happen upon some serious event and/or in a time of turmoil. They also usually gain something from their ordeal and come out stronger from it. In most cases the traveler is an adult too. Regardless, I will present something fairly questionable and it will be far outside the normal and most of those who read this will think I'm insane. But I present to you reasons to believe Babs Seed is a time traveler from many years into the future.

Reason why? Easy, I was closely studying every single detail of boast busters the other day (Episode 6, season 1) and came up with a rather interesting looking background pony.

Looks familiar doesn't it? Aside from an extra curl of mane the image bears a striking resemblance to Babs, who was introduced in One Bad Apple (Episode 4, season 3) that took place months or even years later than Boast busters.

Further if you divide 56/6 you get roughly 9.3, which isn't a bad guesstimate for the age of the fillies seen in the show if the Mane 6 are in their late teens as according to some. Following that and dividing 56/3 you get 18.67, which would be double their current age in the BB episode. Moreso, Boast Busters aired the first time on November 19th, five days and two years before One Bad Apple. That makes the show 40 days old when Boast Busters aired and 775 days old when One Bad Apple aired.

Taking that and dividing 775/40 you get 19.375 which rounded down is 19, the exact answer you would get if you round up 18.67 from earlier. Thus we can assume that in the picture Babs Seed is around 19 years old and visits Ponyville for at least a day. But because at the time of Boast Busters Apleebloom (and by default Babs) was around the age of nine, while sharing an unmistakable resemblance to said background pony, she has to be from the future.

Therefore time travel.
