Another drawing and some updates · 8:35pm May 18th, 2013
Hence my title, I come with a new masterpiece (So to speak)...
As for the updates part, I am having major issues with getting back to The Thoughts that Count. I understand a lot of you support it 100%, but in terms of story, I feel it is not making enough sense to meet professional stories. Yes I know HiE is becoming obsolete, and self-inserts are overrated, but for Christ's sake! I just want this story to be finished and loved, I ask for nothing more. All though Tom Marlow will be proofreading it, so I'm only half worried.
Plus I'm having trouble making chapter 16, for the fact I have no idea how to organize a conversation between Ike and Celestia. Right from her revealing that she took him to Equestria in the first place, to reminiscing the benefits to living in Equestria. All I know is that Ike becomes mad, then becomes happy.
I'm planning on making a separate story starring my own band of cartoon heroes. I hope you'll think it will be better than the first.
That picture is adorable! Pinkie Pie looks so happy!
As for your story, I can't really offer any advice. Though I will ask you... what do you consider to be a 'professional' HiE story? I sure can't think of any.
As for HiE becoming obsolete... if that's the case then I'm fucked, because I've got a sequel to mine in the works even as I type this comment.
1089815 To me, a professional HiE would have decent grammar, excellent story telling, and fantastic use of vocabulary and sentences.
There has been rumors that HiE is just cliche to some. But I highly doubt it will be gone what with MILLIONS of HiE writers to defend it.
