I should probably also make mention of the reason for my disappearance. I'd been toying with the idea of quitting since I found out Twilicorn was a real thing, and then a friend of mine revealed my power level to everyone I knew and I panicked and nuked everything save Ravenspire and MiE. It was all the impetus I needed to really quit, but recently I've gone back to work and ponies are all I think about when I work, so slowly I've started coming back. Confound these ponies, the ride never ends, does it?

It was a friend who frequently uses words far too big that he possesses too little understanding of. It spawned the phrase "And that's why we never let Derp DM." We were all in Mumble together and he said something, I can't remember what, but he absolutely butchered the english language, so I said it. He responded with "Well I'm sorry I don't have as much practice from writing as much pony fanfiction as you do."
Eventually someone decided to google "Imperius pony" for the hell of it, but it turns out that googling those two words brings my Fimfiction page up as the third result.

I can understand what happened, I also didn't like the Alicorn Twilight thing at first, now I simply accept it, although it has not completely entered my headcanon yet. None of my friends know about my weird obsession with ponies either, and would give me a hard time should they ever find out.
I'm glad you decided to return, it would have been a shame for a great story like MiE to end up incomplete. Even your most annoying friend would have to accept your talent if they read it, specially the last chapters.

Here's my two cents, I play with a group that is something like 50% IRL veterans/ active servicemen and I am openly poni. NOBODY GIVES A FUCK. If they have a problem with it, don't antagonize them or spread pony material, but DO affirm your right to be there.

I'm also working on bringing Curse My Name over to Fimfiction. For any of you who read it, its getting a complete prose revamp and, if the first chapter is anything to go by, the story is going to double in word count.
