Today marks a full year since my descent into the world of spaghetti and shame that is fanfic writing. Looking back on this past year I can honestly say that these ponies have had a very significant impact on my life. I've grown as both a writer and a person, learned a few lessons worth writing to the princess about, and discovered my special talent.
Yes, it's writing you dolt.
I even discovered my hidden love of masochism. Why do I keep starting all these new stories? Why can't I ever just write one at a time and finish them accordingly? Why can't I just be happy with one version of a story? Jesus Christ it's killing me andIcan'tstopmyself!
So now here I stand, four or six stories (I lost count, honestly), hundreds of thousands of words, one hundred and eighty-five watchers, hundreds of likes and favorites, and countless new friends later. So now I ask myself: Do I regret it?
Immensely.
But that's neither here nor there!
Anyways, here's to you. Yes, you! You right there reading this! It's thanks to you that I'm here right now, doing what I'm doing because, let's face it, if nobody liked what I wrote then I wouldn't write. So thank you for stomaching my incoherent drivel long enough for me to mistake your tolerance for liking it!
Boy this is coming out a lot more sarcastic than I meant it to.
But really, thank you, all of you. I treasure every single one of of my viewers, though admittedly some a little more than others. Ex Nihilos please have my babies. Also please finish your fucking story. :3 Ha ha, made you look!
So it's to every single one of you that I dedicate this rewrite, written using every ounce of writing ability I gained since I first penned it.
