[RIFF] Oh to be Old Again, Chapter 1 · 8:20pm Apr 25th, 2013
Well, that was finished rather quickly. Can't say the same of any future riffs, but at least, hey, more funny. :P As I mentioned last post, I will be riffing "Oh to be Old Again", a rather amusing little HiE fic that's actually not quite entirely terrible. It's weird, sure, but I still found a strange satisfaction in reading it. Oh well, doesn't mean I won't go ahead and rip it a new one. Huh, I suppose these exercises might actually benefit my writing also...

On the ending: I tried to express the pure amount of "didn't see that coming" I felt by putting a video compilation of "didn't see that coming"s from Johnny Test, but YouTube didn't have one. So... didn't see that coming.
1095456 I'll offer up a proper explanation (rather, more of an excuse) for that "disappearing act" later on, in the third riff. I know it was a rather sudden event, and I frankly don't care much for twists like that, but I found it necessary in my case. I'd rather not give away too many details right now (it would spoil the canon obviously), but I'll just say that it was mostly a result of poor planning on my part. And laziness.
