What happens in Ponyville is up to you. She could settle as a hermit, go on a rampage or simply drift apart. Or, against all odds, be best buds with her former friends again.
I've been entertaining ideas for a sequel of MS:S.
Things I know for sure: Setting: This will be set in the period when the Equis Accord is getting their feet wet in the galaxy - like the humans just after the First Contact War. It will feature 1 (canon) character from the games. It will feature totally new OCs. And an all OC cast. Or mostly OC cast.

If this is seriously up to us to decide, then let us see how Twintel finds her place in Ponyville. It is a new town to her, and nothing is familiar. Many, many years have passed since she last had one of Pinkie Pie's cupcakes, or seen Rainbow Dash pull a stunt. How does she find her place again, and how do Ponyville's more illustrious citizens cope with her?
It would be interesting to see how they've changed.
I would be the limiting factor, though. I don't think I'm able to write something like that, and with the way things are, the six have drifted apart from their canon selves far enough to be almost unrecognisable (for most of them. I think Pinkie's still her old self, just much more mature by the time the end of Schemering rolls around).
It would be a good mirror to the beginning of the entire FiM TV show. I'll think about it.
I am writing a sorta-prequel with Spike as the POV character, though.

Maybe do "day in a life of" chapters, with Twintel appearing occasionally to demonstrate the issues that have arisen?

Slice-of-life... Actually, yeah. Maybe. Maybe after my exams are finished, and stuff. It's something to consider.
Thanks.
