Hello, everyboodeh. I'm on a short respite from cramming my brain full of unwanted information, and decided to blog on me favorite site. So, on Pia's wonderful recommendation, I read the MLP comics. They were pretty darn awesome. The latest issue is spectacular and gives a very engaging, edgy direness feel to the usually tame adventures of our beloved cast, while still maintaining the predominantly comedic tones of the show. On the note of comedy, I wrote a crack fic in response to the latest comic issue, y'know, because I'm quirky and all that. Don't read if you don't want a semblance of spoilers, or don't want to be disgusted by references and flimsy attempts at being funny.

I am quite disgusted...because I haven't read it yet! Pre-ordered the graphic novel, which will be released at the end of May.

1003992 Oh I know! Spike's role was already [mostly] spoiled for me, but I'm not too upset. I was seeing teaser images of alternately the mane six and the mane seven, so it was gratifying to see himriding into battle on Princess Celestia with battle scars and a trident.
It's good, but a bit vague in places. I guess it's what you'd call too much tell and not enough show? Describing the hilarious stuff that happens will make people laugh more than saying "hilarious stuff happened," though I will say that I was fairly amused throughout.
I can't believe you hadn't read the comics until now, Imaginary. They're fantastic. :
By the way, I laughed way too loud at your fic! Rarity just always knows how to get Spike on his side...
