    What type of story is Dogs, anyway?

    I marked it as an Adventure, but that doesn't quite feel right. Sure, the Diamond Dogs are on an adventure into strange and foreign lands from their point of view, but does that count if they're treading ground with which the readers are already familiar? Since we're seeing the world through their eyes, I want this to feel like an adventure, but I'm not sure I've succeeded so far.

Good news, Spirits fans! · 1:24am Apr 7th, 2013

After too long a hiatus and many more chapters churned out on my other fic (which is so different from Spirits I'm loath to recommend it) I'm back to working on a new chapter for The Spirits of Harmony.

Coming up in chapter 9, Pinkie returns with actual help, royalty gets involved, and Twilight Sparkle learns more about what in Equestria's going on, thanks to the mixed blessing of incorporeality and an uncooperative yet strangely knowledgeable filly. Maybe more depending on how long it takes to tell all that stuff.
