Coming this Spring...
Read the story that critics are calling “interesting by sheer virtue of steering far clear of typical ponyfic cliché”, “hats off, that's amazing”, “There's no way EQD would have a problem with your technical fails”; and about whose humor they say, “either way, riff on that joke more. It's no good to make it once and then drop it”.
“Nearly two decades ago a foal was born to two ponies, and these two ponies never knew that their baby had been born eternally damned. This colt, by virtue of him being an infant, never knew that his damnation was to grow up into being me, who, despite all the evidence to the contrary, was most certainly an idiot.”
Rewritten from the ground up and now coming to a fanfiction site near you!
“You like asking questions, don’t you?”
“A very bad habit, but one I find hard to break,” I replied in a cool tone of voice, recomposing myself.
The OC from Teutschland is coming back.
“In my experience,” I said in a calm voice, attempting to get a hold on my finer grasp of Equestrian, “such rude behavior can often end up being quite detrimental to your health.”
Jericho: he's back, he's funnier than ever, more devious, more eloquent, and he's ready to kick some flank!
On Fimfic soon-ish. (Depends on the thoughts of the most recently asked reviewer.)
Upon a more serious note, I'm downright to a point where I'm almost rather happy with Jericho's current status, even though what I've been working on are just two new chapters for a brand new intro, wherein the mane six won't even appear for the first act, and so Jericho's narration and entertainment value must be better than ever. After Azusa's review comes back, and I fix the inevitable tide of errors there, I'll be sending the story off to the pits of Hell the EQD.
I've worked hard to make myself better, and to make the story better. I hope it shows. And it's been a while since I updated this, and just wanted to let y'all know I wasn't dead, and that Jericho was marching on. Will it be the new “Fallout: Equestria” just because it gets onto that site? Probably not, but I've gotta vindicate myself before the EQD's altar, since once there, I'll be pumping out chapters like the old days, probably.
Ah, and any thoughts on the new summary and logo (pictured above)?

Good, good.
I c=actually thought you were dead for a while there.

After all I've been through. I've begun to suspect I'm immortal, and just really meticulous. But fear not, I've just been working super hard to make Jericho not suck.

How accurate...
This is good news. I'm very excited to see how great this new revision of the story will be. To be honest, though, I'm just excited that I'll be able to read new content from you again. I gotta say I certainly do miss how often you used to post back in the old days.

Indeed were they fun days. And now with the story's plot going in different directions, the kind of which I've yet to ever see in ponyfic, I can assure you the new stuff's going to be interesting. Heck, even some of Jericho's mannerisms have been altered (he's still the same sociopath he all know and love, though). And now with the mane six not even showing up for at least the entire first act, well, we'll read that bridge when we come to it, no? I'm gonna have fun with this.
987175 Again, I can't wait to read it and see how it turns out. One question I've been pondering, though: Since the newest revision seems to have a very different plot compared to the old one, is there any chance you would post the old version as an archive or something? I think a lot of readers would find it very interesting to compare the two as the story is being written.

...Maybe? I'm rather disinclined towards it. I mean, really, the only bit of that Jericho—beta!Jericho, as Jojo calls it—that I have uploaded anywhere is that I have about 2k words of the next chapter. That is, the chapter wherein Luna stops being narrator and Jericho resumes. (It's actaully a rather creepy bit of that story's arc) I actually still have those old chapters somewhere, I think, but I still say there's terrible, only to be read by masochists. Plus, anything from Beta!chapter seven onwards is still uploaded to fimfiction, just set to "unpublished". Also, I think I have chapter 7 (the unreleased chapter from this current arc, the one I'm going to be axing in a week when I ship Jericho off) uploaded to Jericho's Fanfiction.net version. It was a trial run, or something. Buuut if you really wanted to brutally subject yourself to that, those first arc bits are on my computer still, since I couldn't bring myself to delete them.
990221 That's understandable. I can see wanting to bury earlier versions of a story once newer, better versions have been made. My main reason for wanting to also have the original available was both to give me something of yours to read while I waited for the next revised chapter as well as to finish from where I left off. I only got to chapter 15 or so before the revisions started. Naturally, it's entirely your decision whether the world will ever get to read those older version again, but I personally think even your "terrible" writing is better than most of the stuff I see floating around FIMFiction.
