Crossovers I'd Eventually Like to Get To... · 4:18am Mar 25th, 2013
I have a few thoughts about what crossovers I could have in the world of MLP... sometimes they pop into my head, and other times I have ideas while watching movies, playing games etc. These are just a few ideas (ones that you can take for yourselves).
Iron Man - I admit that I know nothing about the hero other than seeing the movies, but I love Tony Stark's personality, and I'd like to see his reaction to living in a world filled with colorful ponies.
Mass Effect - It's been done a few times, I know, but after finally beating ME3 and being completely outraged at its ending, I feel as if I would have to continue it... in Equestria, of course.
Superman - I would like to put together a very short story segment for this one. Perhaps it would just be one chapter of him in a discussion with Celestia... not sure why, but it could be a fun little story.
Batman - Cuz' he's batman???
Metal Gear Solid - I actually had a Solid Snake project planned, but I ended up ditching it. It was a bit of an AU fic, with Solid Snake being an ex-soldier for Celestia's black ops military. It would be nice to see it make the light of day, eventually.
A Fist Full of Dollars - I've always been a Clint Eastwood fan, so I thought it'd be cool to have the man with no name be a mysterious pony would just travels around.
Assassin's Creed - This is another ditched project... it followed Ezio, an assassin pony who recently sailed into Equestria following the templars in order to protect the princesses. I didn't really have it well thought out, and it was really just a cool idea more than anything.
Well, I already have a Joker crossover, so good luck with ol' Batsy!
All good options.
I currently follow an Assassin's Creed fusion fic called Brotherhood of the Moon and a Mass Effect crossover called Mass Effect: Dissention.
I also proofread for an MGS crossover, Pony Gear Solid.
I have seen fics where Blueblood is Iron Man and where he is Batman.
I have never seen a straight Iron Man crossover, nor Superman, before, but I have seen one for Batman. It was pretty mediocre.
A Fist Full of Dollars might be interesting.
Personally there are a few I would love to see that no one seems interested in.
One I'm considering butchering myself, actually.
Funny thing, the 3 best crossovers I have ever read are Groundhog Day, Dresden Files, and Psych, of all things.
The Metal Gear Solid, Assassins Creed, and Iron Man ideas sound good
Only ever read one good Batman crossover. So sad that it's over. I friggin LOVED it.

Have you ever tried to write a crossover of MLP with Prototype?
One crossover I'm reading is Rorschach in Equestria, which is brilliant and stays into the canon of both material. It's brilliant and well thought out.
The Mass Effect crossover sounds promising.
