Well ain't that just an interesting title for my first blog post here?
You likely don't know me, and frankly, I can't think of a faster way to introduce me to the lot of you quickly than by linking you to my TV Tropes page (WARNING: TV TROPES!).
Anyways, I've been doing riffs for a year or two now, on and off, and since I generally tend to go for fics that lure me in with promises of greatness and then piss me off in nearly every way, it's been rather slow. That said, I've been loosely following the MLP riffing scene since I found MPPT3k, and I decided to try and join in the fun in my own way. I do riffs with a set of original characters with about eight years of history and character development behind them, which I've included summaritive bios of in this first episode below. Aside from that, I think a notable thing that separates me from most riffers is that I seem (operative word there) to be one of the few attempting to get into / are part of the circle that asks the author's permission before riffing. I kid you not; in fact, my first choice for a first pony fic got rejected by the author, so I didn't do it (incidentally, the first time I've ever been turned down in my riffing history).
