The Birthday of the Winningverse and Cloud Kicker Month · 11:54pm Mar 20th, 2013
So, as some of you might be aware, The Winningverse got its start in May of 2012, so its first birthday is rapidly approaching. I don't think we can let an occasion like that pass us by.
So, I propose that we make note of the anniversary in the only way we can ... by throwing out more Cloud Kicker stories.
So, this May, I want the Winning Pony to be everywhere. If you've got passable writing skills and nothing better to do with your time, crank out a quick Cloud Kicker one-shot. It can be any sort of one-shot you want, the only ground rules I'd set are that Cloud Kicker be in the story (it is Cloud Kicker Month, after all) and that the story be something fans of the Winningverse can read and enjoy. Other than that, it's open season to anything and everything.
Don't feel like this is only something for experienced authors, either. Enthusiastic amateurs are more than welcome to join in on the fun too. Don't worry if your fic isn't perfect—as long as you have fun writing it and some people have fun reading it, all it well.
For the record, the next installment of "The Incredibly _______ of Rainbow Dash" series is gonna be going up for Cloud Kicker Month, covering the Winning Pony's arrival in Ponyville, and some more bonding with Rainbow Dash. Also, alcohol.
Has it really been almost a year already!? Damn. Time sure flies when stories are awesome.
While I don't know if I can do a Cloud Kicker one-shot, my upcoming story has Cloud Kicker as a prominent member in one of the forces (long story), so I can help by shouting at the top of my lungs:
"HEY! CLOUD KICKER IS IN THIS STORY, AND SHE'S HITTING ON APPLE FRITTER!!"
And people will shout, "WHO?!"
And I'll say, "THAT CUTE YELLOW PONY WITH GREEN HAIR IN PIGTAILS IN RED RIBBONS THAT ALWAYS APPEARS WHEN THE APPLES ARE AROUND!"
And people will shout, "OH YEAH, SHE'S CUTE, I HOPE CLOUD KICKER TAPS THAT!"
And other people will shout, "HOW DARE YOU MESS WITH THE OTP, YOU BUCKING-"
And then I will run, shouting, "It has Cloud Kicker and Blossomforth, now go read the original source!"
And then there will be much rejoicing. (Yay.)

I would like to participate, but I would also like to continue being lazy. I'll see what happens. Maybe I'll be slapped in the face with some sort of awesome inspiration. Who knows? If I'm feeling particularly industrious, I may give it a try.
I might give it a go. I'm certainly no professional writer, but if I get inspiration, I might write something.
I would like to participate, but given that I fail both of the criteria you mentioned there is no way I am going to produce anything.
Still, if anyone is up to it I would like to see something with Cloud Kicker messing with a human, and bonus points if a BattleTech fan is willing to do something with the Clans for some hilarious first contact shenanigans.
While a ton of Cloud Kicker oneshots does sound like quite a party, aren't you forgetting a certain watermellon-ish sidekick that is also deserving of a few stores of her own?
Huh, this is actually a strong temptation. I don't mind helping promote this even if I don't end up writing.
Oh, and props for anyone who makes a one-shot of Cloud Kicker's time at the Sister Hooves Social with Alula.

Haven't written for fun before so this will be interesting.
I'll toss a story together, got to explain how Time Turner and Cloud Kicker ended up in a cinema together. I foresee interesting interaction.
Someone just continue your story and throw in a little line like,
"Cloud Kicker was off to the side"
and then immediately after that, write
(That's it. That's all you get Chengar Qordath.)
That way, you don't have to spam on a piece of paper until reaching a worthy topic for a one-shot.
