Actually my birthday was yesterday, not much in the way of presents, but at least had a good dinner. But enough about me.

In other news, just realized that I never did announce the winner of the portrait caption contest, although the winner himself was notified a few weeks ago.
So, everyone, give a stirring round of applause to Psychicscubadiver, the author of the Dresden Fillies, who will be making a character appearance in the next episode of Dr. Whooves. Thank you to everyone who participated and I will try to have more such contests in the future.

Also, found something that made me consider setup up a new story, although I was talked out of it due to already having enough on my plate (that is what friends are for) But still, going to share.
I've never been one for grimdark, as those who know me are aware, but when Foxinshadow did a special pic that led me to a new alternate world-setting, I was intrigued. So, a little word of mouth about 'Equestria Divided'. There is a small group here on FIMfiction that is looking to try and expand on the universe (the creator has given permission for the fandom to use the setting at will) and would like to see some stories from it, although I may not be contributing myself for some time unfortunately. Will definately give a look to any stories set in this world however if anyone wants to give me a heads up.

And lastly
Working on the next chapter of Mass Effect now, although readers won't have too long to wait for the next Dr. Whooves. The good news is that my vacation SHOULD be coming up soon (in the next few weeks) so that will allow me time to get ahead of the game and feed everyone's addiction in a rash of updates across all three stories.
But for now, almost time to head back to work... *deadpan* Yipee...
