First Blog Post Evar!!! Also: My stupidity and the future of Icecane Inc. · 11:58pm Mar 6th, 2013
So, it's my first blog post... Where I force those who dare have a general enjoyment of what I may or may not have done to see my words and ideas! *evil laughter* Though technically.... I already do that in the comment section of my latest story... You know, because I hate Author's Notes for whatever reason.
Then again, my soul cringes every time the little voice inside my mind dares to think of itself as an "Author". Really, there are VERY few people on this site who could even come close to earning the right of such a title. Though, I'm also the kind of person who shudders when they think of making stories as "writing" only because this is a damn keyboard on a computer and nothing else...
Now for the story of my stupidity! I'm only mentioning it because I inwardly groaned when it took me so long to put two and two together. (Also because I wana make my first blog post as nonsensical as possible, but that's beside the point.)
I was watching All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 the other day, and out of nowhere, it struck me. The Christmas special movie that they did, they bring in that demon-dog counterpart to the angel-dog (I think they were cousins or something) and I realized the comparison that could be made between Celestia and Luna... I mean, I know that the similarities are barely anything, seeing as the whole personified light and dark thing is one of the most cliched concepts in anything, but it still made me stare off blankly for several moments as I wonder how I never thought of it before. Granted, I've only ever seen that christmas special like twice, but still.
It actually reminded me of the time I realized there was a humanized Celestia in Samurai Jack. Given the character that's in that episode though, it was probably a humanized Molestia.
Now, without further ado, I'll end this with a slight mention. I've been thinking on the next story I'm going to post. While my latest fic is a crossover of Dragon Age, this one will be one with a lot of original ideas put into it. I like the idea and hope it'll go great when I start to make it. In reality, I've got the story figured out rather well save for a few names of things I need to come up with. Because, as it stands, I'm pretty awful when it comes to thinking up names. It actually makes me worried for the day I have my firstborn child. (Not meaning my first-firstborn, who I gave to Satan. Boy, was his mother pissed.)
My next blog post will probably go into greater detail about the fic. It'll be when I'm closer to posting chapters of it. Lotso Text!
Uh hey, I just want some clarification over what you ment by
I mean there are some pretty bad if not horrible stories here but there are also many good ones.
You know your dragon age cross over fic? Could we like have a alternative chapter where twilight did lose her magic? I'd actually like to see ge outcome of that. Also its a wonderful fic, like its one of those where when it updates it's like "drop everything and read it".
