    New Story on the Horizon

Well, it took about a week since my original commitment, but I finally managed to put down the sodding tablet pen long enough to pick up an ink pen and get back into the horse words business. Now, for those of you who saw my last blog post, you'll recall that I expressed interest in

What I've Been Busy With for the Past Week (Or Two. Or Three... Or Four)

This is why I never, ever, ever mutter the words, 'I think I'm gonna draw for a bit.' If I do, a month suddenly disappears into the aether and I find myself stuck with these friggin' things.

And So A New Project is Born...

Whelp, it finally happened. I figured it was only a matter of time before I got that idea. If you're a writer, then you should know what I'm talking about. That idea. The one that you get in the middle of night right before you go to sleep. The one that refuses to leave your head, constantly scratching at the back your mind like a dog itching for a piss until you finally give the

It's Time for a Change of Pace

Right, so I'll just cut straight to the chase. I've lost inspiration to keep working on Live by the Creed right now. Not enough to abandon the story entirely, goodness no, but enough that I need a bit of a break from it. Not just that, but I am, admittedly, having problems figuring out how exactly I'm going to continue the story from where I am, so yeah, progress has come to an

This is Definitely a Surprise (and a tiny update) · 10:32pm Feb 23rd, 2013

First off, apologies for the long wait. Between school, family, and another story I'm writing, it's becoming harder and harder to show Creed the love it deserves. I hope you all understand.

However, despite that, people are still showing their own love for this story. As I've already said many times before, I never expected this thing to blow up the way it did. I never expected so many people to say how much they enjoy it. So, imagine my surprise when I received not one, but two pieces of fan art from this lovely fellow.

One of Shadow Streak.

And one of Star Light.

Pretty snazzy, wouldn't you say? I know it's hard to properly express emotions through text, but I was damn near on the brink of tears when I saw these show up in my PM box. I've already enjoyed writing for the sole purpose of giving you all something entertaining to read, but to receive something like this? It's just unreal. It's the kind of thing that makes writing worth it for me, and I don't think I could thank anyone enough for this, but I can still try. Big thanks to the one who made these, and big thanks to all of you for putting up with my atrocious update schedule.

And for those who are curious about the rewrite:
At first, I intended to rewrite the entire thing from the ground up. I was going to change entire plot points. I was going to change when and where certain characters were introduced. Hell, I may as well have been writing an entirely different story, but that was the problem. At a certain point, it felt like I was making it all far too different, and I really didn't like that feeling. At all. So, I decided to contained it to a select few chapter, specifically chapters 7-11, because those in my opinion, are the worst ones so far, in terms of both plot progression and syntax.

I don't remember why it happened or how it happened, but I just couldn't be asked to give those chapters the time of day to re-read and edit. As a result, several punctuation, grammar, and spelling errors slipped by; ones that I would've been able to spot if I just put in the effort. But I didn't, and I still kick myself for being so lazy and lackadaisical. It must've been around the time when I lost my fire, which then led to that two-month hiatus that I pray never happens again. It took a while, but that fire's finally back, and I'll make sure it's here to stay. I'm working on the next chapters at the time of this post, so hopefully we'll see some updates in the near future.

Those eyes on Shadow Streak are... kind of creepy.
The expression too. *shivers*

Heehee, it's always nice to get fan-art from people who want to show their appreciation.
Shadow Streak's eyes..... :moustache: my reaction

IRL stuff is the true delayer in producing fics. The "I should go work on my fic-- OH THAT'S RIGHT I CAN'T!" attitude. :trollestia:
