It's Time for a Change of Pace · 12:35am Dec 8th, 2013
Right, so I'll just cut straight to the chase. I've lost inspiration to keep working on Live by the Creed right now. Not enough to abandon the story entirely, goodness no, but enough that I need a bit of a break from it. Not just that, but I am, admittedly, having problems figuring out how exactly I'm going to continue the story from where I am, so yeah, progress has come to an effective standstill yet again. But that doesn't mean I'm not writing anything else in the meantime.
While there will be a decrease in updates for LbtC, there will also be an increase in stories that I post, Rats! being the first of them. I suppose this was bound to happen eventually; after spending over a year straight working on a single story, you're doomed to inevitably lose interest at some point. But during that year, my writing's improved significantly, and I'm hoping to carry these newfound skills over to these newer stories.
I suppose to put it simply, LbtC is going to enter another hiatus for an indefinite period of time. I have no intentions of cancelling it, but I'm not going to force myself to continue; it just wouldn't feel the same, nor would it read the same.
But to end on a happier note, I've gotten my hands on a fancy new drawing tablet a few days ago. Yeah, that's right. I've gotten into drawing, and while I wouldn't say it's anything amazing, it's certainly good for an amateur if you ask me.
Just look at her! So cute!
Hey take your time until you get inspiration back. I know the feeling about loosing inspiration to a story it is annoying. Have fun drawing. And about the picture . . . It is so cute! Keep up the good work.
It´s ok
It is going to be worth the wait.
Awwwww hawhaw haw d'awwwwwwww, it's cuter than a rainbow! Well done!
I for one need a friend to help draw a really sketchy initial sketch in 5 minutes before I can work on it, otherwise an additional 4-8 hours on trying to get the lines to look swell is required.
I work by mouse on Paint Sai, before I used to depend on MS Paint.......
Though I have to say, one of my better works happens to be this:

(And hopefully, I'll get the fic out too once my exams are done on Monday. I remember someone nearly posted a story idea of mine with the same cover image that I was writing about. They do it all the time with scientific patents, whoever gets it out first, gets the credibility. EINSTEIN MOTHA-B**KER!)
Enjoy the drawing dude because it's a ton of fun

That's a pretty good picture. You used a mouse for that? If you can make art like that with a mouse, then you'd be able to make some pretty killer pictures on a tablet. I got mine for around $80 off of Amazon, and it works like a charm. Considering how expensive some of those things go for, that's a steal. You should really consider investing in one.
1585629 I have considered getting one for a while though I blew most of my money on textbooks and second semester stuff. I know an artist friend of mine is finally getting one of those large drawing tablets. (I'm so jelly!)

Drawing for me however takes roughly 12 hours longer than it should on account on my shakey hands and inability to do sketchings. First things first however, I must get back into writing Assassins or something else involving a fight scene
Don't worry. Follow the story when you feel ready
Positively adorable, good sir
