I want to apologize to every one for not doing ANY work lately.
After I was sick, I had a superbusy week at work/baby-sitting, as well as it being my birthday. I would have liked to have done some work over the weekend, but I was having birthday shenanigans and then my (crazy) brother and his GF spent the night because my (crazy) brother ran in a marathon near my house in 24 degree weather on Sunday and his GF and I froze our butts off waiting for him to finish.
My non-legit reasons for not doing any writing in the past two weeks involve Ninja Turtles and old roleplay logs. The good news is, I'm almost done reading said old RP logs, which means that will be one less distraction. The bad news, however, is that I have absolutely fallen in love with the Nickelodeon Ninja Turtles show and have gone a little Turtle-crazy. There is no fic on the horizon for that series, but I HAVE been watching it and buying toys. And, FYI, my childhood love for Michaelangelo has not only been rekindled but totally enhanced. This Mikey is just so sweet and adorable that I wish I could hug him! X3
Anyway, aside from a teensy bit of cosplay stuff to finish this weekend, I have no real plans other than WRITING. I hope to have at least one chapter of something out for you guys soon!

I sometimes fall in love with a series in which I don't participate in the fandom (a good example of this is The Venture Bros. I LOVE that series, but don't read/write/draw it. Ever.). I think TMNT is going to be like that for me, because I haven't really been interested in fic or anything, just toys and episodes and wanting to give Mikey and Donnie HUUUUUUUGS.

The new TMNT is pretty good. I had absolutely no hope for it initially, but caught the premiere on impulse and was hooked right away. The Turtles themselves are easily my favorite incarnations yet, and the CG animation surprisingly manages to look really good most of the time.

I had NO idea there even was a new TMNT show until the day I had cartoon Saturday at Random's house and I watched it with her and her hubby. I'm totally blaming her for getting me interested
I love how idividual and different these turtles are. Their personalities are pretty stellar and realistic and I approve of that. And yes, the CGI is awesome...Except for the hair. Karai's hair especially...It looks like a helmet!
