Phew! Finally finished the 21st chapter of Music. The reason it took so long is because I reworked it at least twice. In the first draft, Rarity would have showed up and dragged Octavia to the spa with Fluttershy; hilarity would have ensued, and Vinyl would have had a cute moment with 'Shy because why not. However, the Rarity and 'Shy just wouldn't stay out of the spotlight, so I cut them. Then I ended up changing the actual salient plot point of the chapter; Octavia was going to get just straight-up rejected by Vinyl's boss and be completely left in the lurch. The current version is a little nicer, I think.
However, we're getting so close to the final chapter! There's either one (more likely) or two (if I'm verbose) real chapters left, then an epilogue. I was considering just having a final sprint and letting Fear sit for a while, but that's at an important point, too, and considering how long the waits between chapters for it are already, I think it'd be a bad move. I am very excite, however!
In regards to Fear: next chapter will be fun. The dominoes set up by the first half of the party will begin toppling, with enjoyable results. (Also, Dash gets some screentime. Fluttershy doesn't, although she's slightly more relevent to the plot than she usually is. Unless I'm lying, which is pretty likely.)
Fluttershy still isn't plot relevant. She never is.
