So, I may or may not have updated in several months... But onto other things.
For whatever bizarre reason, I've managed to accumulate 157 followers. I have completely no idea how you find me, or why you chose to follow me (but thank you for doing so), so I thought I might as well ask.
So yeah, my question to you, people you read this, how did you find me? Why did you then follow me after seeing my poor excuse of an account? And how do you go about finding new authors?
I know that last question doesn't really follow, but I haven't read anything in a while, so perhaps you can recommend your best ways to find new authors.

I found you when Oldnew Luna got featured once I think and then once it got finished and you announced a sequal I followed you to hear from it

It was during my Luna frenzy, found your story in the new stories list, and the rest is history.
the New stories list is a good way to find stuff, both good and bad.
Oldnew Luna. Whenever I give a story a thumbs up and favorite, I almost always Follow the author too.
I find new authors by browsing the front page and by checking out the "My Favorite Stories" box on the landing page of authors I already follow *. I also check out all the notifications from the groups I've joined (TwiLuna, Shipping, TwiDash, etc.). I almost never search randomly or use the browse feature anymore.
* Total geek moment: when you see your own stories in someone else "favorite stories" box.
I was searching for TwiLuna stories
I stumbled upon Oldnew Luna.
I found this site on accident. And browsing it for a while I sas Oldnew Luna and just scrolled past it. Then when I was bored one day I recalled the name of the story and began reading it. And after awhile I ended up just kinda reading it a lot and then boom hit the follow button.
Found old new luna a day after it was made, followed for the sequel.
I shall answer your questions in the order they were asked.
1) I don't remember where, when, or how but I found Oldnew Luna (likely either through feature box, twiluna group, or some author I followed previousely)
2) I chose to follow you because I wholeheartedly and greatly enjoy the aforementioned story
3) I find new authors in one of three ways. I either check the feature box every day until something interests me, check the groups for when I have a craving for a particular story, or dig through the favorites lists of the authors I already follow. after I find a story I like I usually follow the author and give some of their other stuff a chance if it catches my eye
I followed you after that one time when you and I had to fight off some hundred and twenty seven terrorists in that one convention centre during that one anti-terror mission. You remember, we were both taken hostage, but one of the idiots dropped his rifle and we stole it and shot the whole place up in a fiery dramatic action sequence to save your sister from certain doom at the hands of a zombie overlord from the next galaxy over?
Then you told me about that OldNew Luna story you were working on, caught my interest, and I figured that for the sake of camaraderie I'd see where you went with it.
Oldnew Luna it is, through the TwiLuna Group most likely since its my OTP also I love reading Story about Luna in General.

I follow because Oldnew Luna and I think I found you through featured box but I cant really remember.
in my case it was because oldnew luna was in the featured box and after reading it(+ sequcel) i thougt follow that guy
For me, it was because of After Dawn. I saw it in the featured and decided to read it. I then found it was a sequel and went to read Oldnew Luna first.
