Hey there, I want to apologize for the delay. It's been some time since Chapter 13 and I'm glad to tell you all that Chapter 14 is on its way. It's a bit shorter than I had planned but I think you've all waited long enough.
Anyway, the reason for the delay was that I was in a car accident two weeks ago. Nothing serious, don't worry. My neck's been hurting a bit though and it's very distracting.
So, the new chapter's off to the editor. It's in his very capable hands right now and should be up sooner than you think

I know that car accident feel. I got into one late at night, and had to be at work bright and early the next day to drive trucks around a campground. Needless to say, I let my partner drive that day. Glad to hear you're okay though!
On another note: Woohoo! Mirror's Image is continuing!
If you need me to cram more obscure bands down your throat, you just say the word, and you'll be having fever dreams of quarries in Virginia in no time!

Well, my userpage features the album Spiderland by Slint, a band that isn't very well known outside of the Post-Rock scene. Aside from that, I can give you a couple favorites.
The Darkest Of The Hillside Thickets aren't nearly as famous as they should be.
These guys, they know how to pull off a live show. They can even make 924 Gilman a decent place to be!

832674 So just slightly more than half of the previous chapter. Eh, as long as the plot actually moves, I'm fine with it. That's not the smallest update after several months I've seen. Had one dude drop in a 760 word chapter after three freaking months. Was he injured or have RL take a dump on him? Nope. Just randomly decided to switch priorities to another story that was put on hiatus and later canceled in those three months. Then he remembered the story that people actually read and threw us that measly little chapter.
Also if you ever need another editor feel free to ask! From my experience, the more the better as they'll catch mistakes that the other missed. Just make sure they aren't slowpokes.
