    Working on Other Stuff

Hey all, just wanted to apologize for the heinous lateness of the newest chapter. I've been working on Stories on and off for about three years now, and as it turns out, writing the same characters and plot can get a bit tiresome after a while. In January, after I finally put myself back together after my life collapsed in late 2014, writing Stories was seriously starting to feel like a chore,

    Sick as a Dog

I've been told before that between my constant sleeping, declining health, and dogged pessimism, I am on the inside a grumpy old man. I always thought that was some sort of joke until now. And now I have shingles. Shingles. I'm twenty years old! I suppose I'll have to start worrying about dementia next. On top of that, I've got a sinus infection, and I think my eyes are starting to go. At

    A few days off

My girlfriend of almost a year dumped me. I'm not gonna be writing for a few days, so this next chapter will be a little later than usual. If I tried to write right now I'd just end up killing off all my characters.

    Editor Request

If anyone is interested in helping me out and confident in their editorial skills, I'm seeking someone to work on ongoing "Stories" chapters with me. If this sounds like something you're interested in, leave a comment or pm me with your email and I'll send you the google docs links for my drafts.

    Nocturnal

A/N : The following is a briefly proofread, un-structured thinkpiece. I don't really take my blog as seriously as my stories, so if that isn't what you're here for, you probably shouldn't bother reading this.

Moving Forward, Moving Back · 9:16pm Mar 5th, 2012

Hello, everypony (if anypony actually reads these)! Good news and bad news: Chapter 5 is (finally) done. It only took me...let's see here...oh. A month. *Ahem*. Could've been worse, I suppose. I blame the fact that I got my wisdom teeth out and can't write on Lortab. What was I saying again? Oh yes, I found a great editor, Secondaryspine, to help me out with my fic. I'm planning on submitting this to EqD soon, and if anyone can make this garbage worthy of being posted there, it's him. Okay, now for the bad news: I'm going out of town for ten days. Out of the country, actually. Now, I would hope that my vacation would smoothly, and I would end up inspired by the gorgeous Italian scenery, culture, and countryside to weave together hundreds of thousands of words of the best MLP fanfiction the world has ever seen. I would meet a gorgeous Italian woman, and show her my fanfiction, and even though she couldn't understand a word of it, she would recognize my genius, and we would fall passionately in love. Our love affair would be the stuff of legend, tomes as thick as my head written about its profundity and spread across Europe until that fateful thenth day, when I would hop into my WWII style fighter plane and fly away into the sunset, a single tear making its way down my face as I leave behind my one true love to return to what I know in the land I call home.

What's slightly more likely is that I'm going to sit on my ass for a week and a half and eat a ton of pasta, my fanfiction utterly neglected. Sorry! Anyway, the basic moral of this whole thing is that Chapter VI is going to take about as long as Chapter V did, in that I won't by writing for a while, and when I get back around to it, he and I are going to go back and edit these first five chapters to get them ready for submission. Sorry for all these delays, everypony!
