Well well well, hello everyone who is as of yet unaware of the existence of this page!
I tried to keep everyone as updated as I could about my extended absence, but posting across X amount of sites got confusing, so suffice it to say problems with work, family and health all joined together. Anyways, my life is where I want it to be right now (except maybe a few kilos lighter than I would like), so I'm finally in a place to keep things going.
As this update title indicates, this is site number four that I am uploading stuff to, so at the advice of several people I trust, I will be discontinuing updates to GoogleDocs, FanFiction and DeviantART. I'm sorry if those are your preferred websites, but Fim-Fiction seems to be the premier MLP fanfiction place now, and the process of uploading it to all the other sites could take hours. It just isn't worth the effort anymore. So from now on, Giving Love a Helping Hoof will be furthered on Fim-Fiction. This makes the process much easier for everyone; it's easier for you to contact me and vice versa.
Anyway, on that topic. I'm happy to announce that I have two and a half un-posted chapters currently written up, that just need editing. An update is not far off!
However I AM changing my editing process. In the past I've always had a group of pre-readers help me out, however long consideration has led me to the conclusion that using only one editor is a more efficient process. Fewer opinions to sway the original intention of the story, and less time between writing, editing and posting.
So I am currently seeking out a new editor for Helping Hoof. I have a few people in mind already that I'm going to get in contact with, but if you think you're the one for the job by all means drop me a PM.
That's all I can think of for now. I'm off to update each other site with the information that it is no longer being updated, and to direct it towards this post for info.

EDIT: Forgot to mention! It's a habit of mine to always reply to everyone who takes the time to send me a review or a PM. Even just standard comments, if I have the time. So if you've sent/left me one of those in the past that you never heard back from, keep a weather eye out over the next few days!
EDIT2: Special mention to blake0831 who started watching this profile within about 20 minutes of me properly updating it. Day-um!
You know, I can't remember what the story is about, only that I apparently watched it on Fanfiction.net and saw an update.
So when you get around to adding it, I'll have to re-read it again. Must've been decent, though, if I was following it.
And I can understand just picking FIMFiction only; Deviant Art hates authors in that they make it damn near impossible to upload text without formatting it the hard way and making it so that the web pages—you know, the infinite virtual space that should have no restrictions—that contain text only display so much, forcing you to break up longer chapters. Yet multi-megabyte pictures and flash animations gleefully get a full display. And FFnet's design is just an eyesore. FIMFiction has a good design and though you gotta reformat for the site, it's not as bad as DA and it's easier to do.
Also, ponies.
