I'm surprised I came back to the site at all. I was sure that 1.) I made a fool out of myself, 2.) I had nothing to offer the community, and 3.) I did not want to deal with anything like that.
Guess I was wrong.
Granted, a couple bad experiences should not be a reason to have thought about going away. I guess I just needed a break from that brief period of craziness. I threw myself into the pool before dipping my toe in; guess getting burned from the hot Jacuzzi water was my fault. Then again, who turned the temperature up?
I have not been idle. I have worked on a draft for a new story, and I admit I'm kinda excited to see where it goes. It's different, and yet it's... I don't know yet.
I put my other two stories on hiatus. I have no idea when they will be finished, and in all honesty I'm just not fired up to see their conclusions anymore. Yeah, it's disappointing, but hey, facts are facts: I'm just not that into them at this point in my journey as a writer.
Anyway, back to writing!
