If anyone else already knew this, I've only just noticed. Call me Slowpoke.
While writing a fanfic I double checked details on the background pony Rose, to see if she worked in a flower shop or a flower stall.
So, this is the store where Rose, sometimes called Roseluck on the merchandise, works.
Then, looking up some other stuff, I noticed:
This is the house where Twist lives.
See.
Conclusion: Rose is the mother of Twist.
By the power vested in me by my status as a Brony, i declare this canon!

Ponyville is a small town. maybe Bon-Bon is an aunt or something
773168 I have a genius idea which rectifies all problems, Bon-Bon is the single mother of Twist, and Roseluck is her cousin, or distantly related someway, and offered to let them stay at her house, to help raise Twist, until Bon-Bon found someone new to be with.

To add to the confusion, the original version of "Smile, Smile, Smile" had a patter section that was cut that included the following:
"Hey there Shimmy Shake, how'd Twist do on her last spelling test?"

As such, I'd been assuming Shimmy Shake as her mother...
