A lot of fans and writers are terrified and or hate what Hasbro may or may not be doing to the show. While, I disrespect all of their rumored decisions, I feel I need to gave the fine folks who work on the show my thanks. Without the two and half really good seasons full of episodes they put out, we would never have the characters of the sheer amount of stories and art posted on this site, Deviant Art and fanfiction.net.
I think we should give canon a farewell party in the event that the rumors are true. Yes, I know that most stories will be given the AU tag and have a disclaimer that states, "this takes place before the end of season 3."
We are writers, artists and readers, if we take to heart what is canon then we lose creativity. Some folks want to make a blog called: The End is Nigh" or "Game Over," by doing that we limit ourselves, so instead of some kind of melancholy blog about how Hasbro sucks d**k, we just continue as if nothing happened. Canon never stopped Whoovians, Pokeholics, Trekkies and Mass Effect fans.

Indeed, the only way that the MLP Community will die is by the hands of the Bronies themselves...Let's help they show great restraint when it happens as it would be anti-climatic to have it fall by one episode despite all the trials and hardships we faced by the media and the outside force.

I mean, I think it's stupid and I'm most likely gonna branch into an alt.univserse if it effects things, but because Celestia is pretty ineffective against villains and Cadence can get exhausted and Luna barely does anything, alicorns kinda suck.

An interesting note is that Cadence wasn't originally a Alicorn, as so stated by Ol' Faust herself, so one explanation would be that Cadence is a half-breed; Half-alicorn and Half-Pony. I mean look at it, she is just as small as any other pony when compared to Celestia and Luna.
