    Yeah, I'm still around.

Just letting you guys know I haven't stopped writing. Been working two jobs, so when I'm not sleeping I'm usually working. Anyway enough excuses, updates are still coming and thanks for being patient. Haven't heard from my co-writer in weeks. Getting back into the swing of things, now that I have some time off.

    Thanks for being patient.

The Next Chapter of There's Something About Nightmarity and The MLP comics.

Yeah, so the latest chapter of There's Something About Nightmarity is is up and with that being said, I'd like to address something rarely brought up in fan fiction and that is the IDW comics. The comics are a great source of fan fiction material, with new characters like Nightmarity,

    Top 35 Animated Films List

While I'm working on my fics, I figured I'd put a list out since the others have done so well, so why not share my top picks for animated films. Even with a cap of 35 I found this list hard to cut down.

*Now this a list may not necessarily all good movies, but rather entertaining films.

    35. Interstella 5555

The Next Chapter of There's Something About Nightmarity and The MLP comics. · 12:29am May 12th, 2014

Yeah, so the latest chapter of There's Something About Nightmarity is is up and with that being said, I'd like to address something rarely brought up in fan fiction and that is the IDW comics. The comics are a great source of fan fiction material, with new characters like Nightmarity, Wheat Grass, Flaxseed, and many others, and great scenarios, but I don't see much of it used for fan fiction, especially when a lot of the stuff in them surpasses season 4 for the show.

I mean here's just a taste.

Chrysalis just murdered the F***K out of a cat right in front of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

Or, how about the time Spike armed with a MOTHER F**KING TRIDENT and Celestia battled a flock of cockatrices while the Mane Six fought changelings.

Oh and he got a metal afterwards.

The time Rarity went on a vacation and hung out with hippie ponies named: Flaxseed(Male) and Wheat Grass (Female)

The time Mac was confused for a pop sensation.

When Shining Armor was a D & D playing teenage nerd.

Learning why they call him Snips.

Or this page of awesomeness.

There was even Luna being awesome and going to Ponyville hanging out with everyone.

The comics are wonderful, no tree gets burned the burn and there is always fun and in-jokes, changelings, trolls, filthy hippies, Spike, Luna, Big Mac, pirates, monsters, etc.

I agree about the comics. I'm going to write a short story about Celestia and Jade Singer's relationship, just because Jade happens to be my favorite non-canon character. Her backstory is so fascinating, and I'd love to elaborate on it.

It'a funny because most arc if you can call them that typically last 2-3 issues
Personally I loved the "Return of Chrysalis" arc issues 1-4.
In that one we have a lot of awesome sauce: zombie like ponies, changelings, Chrysalis and the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Trident Spike and Kick-Ass Celestia,

Then there is the "Nightmare Rarity" arc issues 5-8
It's probably the most dramatic and dark in terms of tone. We have the Mane six seeing their own worse possible nightmares, you have an evil cult bent on bringing back Nightmare Moon, Spike's Fire ruby gets smashed and they almost lose Rarity to the darkness.

Issues 9 and 10 felt more like filler, but it did feature a really good characterization for Mac and you see how he deals with a town full of loonies.

The Shining Armor /Cadence Teenage arc which was only two issues 11-12 were really adorkable and funny it's set in a pseudo version of the late 80's/Early 90's and we see a nerdy teenage Shining Armor along with his 3 friends(Poindexter, Gaffer and 8-bit) play Dungeons and Dragons and help him win over Cadence (who already likes him) from the high school jock (Buck).

This is the story arc I'd recommend the most because it's short, sweet and funny.

I'd also Recommend the "Pirate" story arc that was from 13-14, mostly because it has a irate and genuinely bad ass pirate maned Hoofbeard that essentially shanghais the Mane Six plus Spike into helping him look for a treasure that isn't what it seems to be.

Last there is the current arc which is from issues 17- , it's basically a mirror world arc where the Mane Six go to an Alternative opposite universe and do battle with evil versions of themselves while meeting good versions of villains.

Then there are the one-shot macro-series. Pick up Rarity(Dirty Hippies), Luna(Day long take over bet), Spike (teaches sea-monkeys to read) and Princess Celestia (Saves a teacher from being put to pasture)

I hope this helps and you can determine what story you wanna read.
