Hello my fellow Readers. I am glad that the first chapter of Pinkie gets Chopped got a positive feedback from people. I just would like to take a moment to give a little information about myself and what exactly im doing here. Dont worry im NOT going to fully expose myself. Im just showing what I do and share plans with you of what im going to do here.
When im not writing about Pinkie's adventures in the show Chopped, I am a food writer/freelance chef from Chicago, IL. I mostly write about my adventures through the culinary world on my first website "Journey of a Chef" http://chefkyro.blogspot.com/?m=1 and my experiences in cooking professionally. I am also a chef who creates recipes based off the characters of My Little Pony: Freindship is Magic on my second website "The Brony Chef Project" http://bronychefproject.blogspot.com/?m=1 .
Most of the time, I usually write about non-fiction food and travel works from my experiences as a freelance chef. But ever since I discovered fimfiction, I started to experiment with culinary fiction. I know there are a few cooking stories on here, but I want to make works somewhat similar to what Anthony Bourdain or Steve Dublanca would write in a fictional setting. I might try some other fiction genres to practice my fiction writing skill, but right now Im mainly focused on Pinkie gets Chopped Series and see how this series would progress forward.
You might say this is an experiment to where Fanasy and Culinary Fiction can co-exist with each other.
I am currently working on the Pinkie Series but from my own personal experience, thinking up about the ingridents from the mystery baskets and the dishes that is created durring the stories is very difficult. I acctually whatched some episodes of Chopped just to get the basic idea and think like a chef to not only what Pinkie would make but what Tyronne, Kyro and Bob would create durring the compition. I already have the appitizer round ingredents piked out but I want to ask you, what do you think the entree round's mystery items would be? Feel free to comment below for suggestions.
