Last Blog for a while... Or maybe not, who knows! · 7:09pm Jan 7th, 2013
So, my internet and computer seem to hate me enough to drive me insane (which was done years ago, but that's a different story). Anyway, once again I will be losing my computer for around a month or so. (This time, the CPU failed, so now THAT has to be replaced.) I have been writing a new story, called A Darker Light.
You all may be wondering about my current story Steel the Night and why that hasn't had any recent updates for it. That is because my stupid computer and its' terrible internet. I am quite tired of writing the same dungeon scene over and over and over again (seriously, I thought it would be fine on the third time, but nope... got wiped AGAIN). So I am currently re-working the plot for that chapter, so I can get out of the same scene. Once the third chapter is done, expect regular updates for both (once I get my medicine). I hope to get a chapter a week pace for both stories, which would roughly be 2,000 - 3,000 words a day (lengthy chapters). If I can manage this, Steel the Night can finally be complete and I can start its' sequel, which I have been waiting to do for a long time. Anyway, now time to let you in on my other story...
A Darker Light (currently) is a crossover with the Darkness (seriously, the game is amazing and the Darkness, is just epic). I am partly going to go OOC with it, because I don't want the story to be a bloody mess (quite literally) but it will still have its' violent moments. I may change the story and get rid of the Darkness crossover aspect, but that wouldn't alter the story to much (surprisingly). ANYWAY I have the first chapter thoroughly plotted out and just need to start writing (which I was going to do... but fate has other plans). I'll give you the short description of it, hope you enjoy!
"Shadow Streak had a seemingly normal life. He worked hard, played hard, practiced hard and idolized the Wonderbolts. Yet he was alone, his parents were dead and he had no friends. The only pony in his life that mattered was his little sister, and near his 21st birthday, she was foal-napped. For his birthday present, the Darkness returned. The organization "A Darker Light" brought the Darkness back after the Princesses eliminated it from Equestria over a thousand years ago. And both have their own intentions on what to do. All Shadow wants is to stay hidden and get his sister back, while the Darkness, well, it just wants to feed."
