Temporary hiatus due to intense course

I have tried taking it with a positive view, but considering the circumstances, I might have to put writing and drawing away for a few weeks. I didn't think it was going to be so time consuming, but the course is an intense 12-weeks course compressed into 6, and the physical training I haven't done in probably years. My classic "I will run when they come lookin' for me"ideology is taking its

As if I needed more reasons to be a slow writer

I've always had reasons to not write/draw while following a specific schedule. Most of them being:

    -Gaming like a mofo.
    -Exhausted from house chores.
    -Simply not feeling like it.
    -Lack of inspiration.
-Friends come to visit (extremely rare)

Why I seem to be dead around here these days

I've seen a lot of blogs these days commenting about fake suicide notes and stuff like that. Not a pretty sight. I was going through a bit of an ordeal myself, but I didn't feel like bothering anyone around here with it, so I moved forward. Anyway, that's not the point of all this, but it's true that the idea of being called out because of all the ones posting lies for attention really didn't

    I draw (horribly) too!

So, after almost a month full of delays and mishaps, I was able to get my tablet. Suffice to say, I wasn't an outstanding artist before I got this thing, and getting used to it (and learning how to use it) takes time. Ever new drawing shows that I'm slowly adapting to it, but I still was a mediocre artist when I started. For any of you interested, there's actually a comic I'm working on that

My beginnings in FiMFiction · 12:10pm Feb 26th, 2012

Is this thing on? Beard, go check it out just in case.

Ahem. Okay, I'm not really sure about how to do this, but let's make it simple.

Greeting to the FiMFiction community. Simon o'Sullivan here. Ponychan reviewer and fanfic writer. I've decided, until quite some time, to upload my own epic story (not because of awesomeness, that'll be the reader's opinion, but in length) here for now. New episodes might take quite some time to get uploaded here for several reasons, the most important one being "trying to make them worth reading. Making sure the plot leaves only the necessary loops (or not if they aren't needed), polishing characters, and a freakin' long et cetera.

Though it's true that I'm pointing at EqD as a final destination. However, I thought that, as long as the plot is fine, some lesser issues should not avoid the story to be enjoyed. So if I end up editing previous episodes, those changes would have no effect on the main story (just grammar issues or word choice which, being a non-native English speaker, are some of my weaknesses, as well as those prepositions, my archnemesis).

That being said, I have some ideas for different stories, which may end up writetn and submitted here to, or not, depending on how inspired I feel and how long I keep "Ponies of the Five Rings" going (which is going to be quite long, I assure it).

The main story I'm going to submit to FiMFiction is, as I mentioned, "Ponies of the Five Rings", a crossover/AU with the Collectible Card Game/RPG "Legend of the Five Rings" (I've had a lot reviewers consider that it was a crossover with the Book of the Five Rings. Which is an acceptable misunderstanding, for L5R is based on Miyamoto Musashi's work, but it's misleading anyway). I know that this is a little known, almost obscure, world to make a MLP crossover with, but the world's mechanics have been simplified for it to be enjoyed by those who know it and those who don't alike.

With no further ado, good day and enjoy.
