Christmas was fun! I went to visit the family at my Mom's place. All of my immediate family showed up, we hung out, exchanged gifts (well, those of us not beggaring ourselves on car repairs), and got fat on far too many homemade cookies.
Unfortunately this meant that I didn't have access to my computer, since it's a desktop. Let me tell you, Droid4's can do word processing, but that doesn't mean they're all that good for it. It takes a lot longer to type and there's the memory problem - after about two sentences without saving I risked Quickword crashing and deleting whatever I had just typed. Also, as the file got bigger saving noticeably took more time. So I'm glad to be home and I bet everyone waiting for more "To Love a Pony" is as well. Soon; I promise.
In some of my free time I sketched a little something because I thought it was a cute idea. Etherea and Dimble. Enjoy!

20 story updates? Lightweight! I have 42 chapters sitting unread in my Favorites, and 24 stories in various states of completion on my to-read list.
I didn't change Etherea's hair style. In this picture it's just flipped all on one side and not randomly flopped about. In the story's cover image her hair has the same wavy style, it's just spread all over the place.
P.S. I'm not very happy with how I drew the tail. It doesn't seem rippled like her mane.
Hah, love the image. Kitty is taking this rather well, all things considered.
Glad to see you back, and looking forward to more. I, too, have somewhat of an overflow on my updated Favorites and Read Laters to get to, but unfortunately pesky things like work and The Secret World keep distracting me.

I must say that drawing is adorable and you have talent! So when can we expect an update on To Love a Pony? You kind of left us on a crucial point

He's a simple kitty with simple desires. He cares mostly about being fed, entertained, or petted. Etherea can do those things, so he'll probably like her.

Aw crap... You accidentally found a major error in my editing of chapter 3. When Etherea first speaks in english there was supposed to be a description of how tall she was when she straightened to her full height. I remember having trouble wording it correctly and must have just deleted it.
Now I'm less than happy with that sketch. She's a bit short in general. Her hind legs are definitely too short (she's supposed to be bending down a bit). She may be too chunky.
Now I'm going to have to draw something else just to make it right...
Well, she is an alicorn, and most of them are really slender in build to the normal rounder Equestrian pony. Sorry about that. It is still a cute drawing.
