What should I do? · 2:36pm May 14th
Hi Everypony,
So as I mentioned in the author's note of my new story, I've been sort of conflicted lately over what to write about for the fandom. On one hoof I've really been inspired to write 'The Blood Doctor' as I love Vampire stories and media and I have a full vision of where I want the story to go.
However, on the other hoof I think the results speak for themselves. My new story did not get good reception on the first chapter and nopony bothered to leave a review or let me know what they want me to do instead.
This leaves me in a tough spot as an author because I really want to tell the story that I have in my mind, but I'm mature enough to know that if no one else reads it then there's no point. So, I'd like for you guys to give me your thoughts on what I should do next. I'll leave a couple options of different story ideas below. Some of these ideas are ones I considered doing, but wasn't sure if they'd sell.
1: Keep writing 'The Blood Doctor'
2: Write a sequel to 'To End a Cycle'
3: Write a Spike X Rarity or Ember next gen fanfic
4: Write a story about my other OC's Thea Twist, Durable Cell, T-Bar Twist (Empowerment, and hopeful message)
5: Write a Nightmare Moon AU fanfic (Where she banishes Celestia as Daybreaker)
6: Write a Fluttershy x Discord fanfic
7: Write a Rainbow Dash and Applejack slice of life fanfic
Let me know what everypony thinks about those options above! And stay positive!

Personally I would love to ready a sequel of 'To End a Cycle' it got me hook since there are a only a few flurry stories and sombra ones. On top of that I love a good villain x main character theme.

Hmm okay. I see your point. The only reason I didn't make a sequel to it sooner was that I wasn't sure where to take the story since I kind of killed off its main villain.
If I were to do it, would you like a shorter story like a one shot/less than 3 chapters, or another big tale?
Another option would be for me to make a spicy nsfw fanfic of them having some fun 😋...

Now that you say it maybe sombra and flurry will face the challenge of ruling and sombra still living in guilt for what he did?
There's also a part where sombra faces the challenge of being a parent?, since he didn't seem to get along with kids and flurry will help him.

Hmmm, that's certainly an option. Do know anyone else who'd maybe be interested in a fic like that? If so let me know in a dm or something :)
Back to what I mentioned earlier though, I'm gonna avoid making a decision until more ppl respond.
