Hey everyone.
It's been a bit since the last chapter so I wanted to give you all an update.
The rolls for the upcoming chapters have been completed and I've started the process of writing them up. And yes, you read that right. Chapters. Plural. Given the rolls and where the story is at the moment, I felt it was necessary to split the chapters up. I feel it'll be easier to tell the story this way, and we'll get to see it from different character perspectives given how split up our five protagonists are right now.
The downside to this is that, along with the upcoming Meanwhile... chapter of the Battle of the Crystal Empire, it'll be a fair while before you guys can vote again. I'll try to post them as quickly as I can, with the first two chapters planned to be released together. Hopefully the content within said chapters will be enough to meet your expectations, as we near the pointy end of the story. All I can ask is for your patience while I work.

I do not want to rush you or anything but i was wondering how far you are writing the next chapters? How long do you estimate until they come out? I am dying to know whats in store for us

That's okay. It's fair to ask given how long it's been.
I have recently felt the energy to write come back and progress has been made. I have also, however, been distracted by making the rolls for the bad endings that could've been, along with updating the earlier chapters (up to chapter 2 at present) and other IRL shenanigans.
I can't give an ETA on release, as if I push myself too hard in writing (like I did for the prequel story and earlier chapters of this one) I run the risk of running myself into the ground and I'd rather avoid that.
Still, considering I haven't given up on this story after this long, I'm in this for the long haul. I know you've all been patient (some people have, very understandably stopped participating), but all I can ask for is your continued patience as I work on the story. I want to see it done just as much as you guys, and am working to make that happen.

but i am going to be patient and see this through because i got to know how the story will end and i GOTTA see the bad endings because.. for some weird reason my brain loves bad endings in stories like this feels almost like some sort of kink but i don't know for sure lol so i wish you good luck in writing the next chapters and i am looking very much forward to them 
Yeah that's fair i wouldn't want to force myself into doing things that'll eventually or quickly lead to a burnout and life do be a massive B sometimes
